A Note from Liane |
| I made the decision to build a more comprehensive and professional website because I simply cannot attend all the wonderful events and private consultations I’d like to. Aspie.com is my attempt to share with others those things I have learned (and continue to learn) from my rather unique perspective as a person with Asperger syndrome, a family member of several people on the spectrum, and an academic who has three degrees in the fields of psycholinguistics and communications- two crucial components of promising Aspie support and intervention. However, taking the advice of my friend Temple Grandin, I will never let the field of Asperger syndrome become my career, but rather, I will welcome it as my main interest and joy. Here’s hoping Aspie.com will become a bright light in our already glowing future in Aspieland! Best, Liane
