ARRANGE TO HAVE LIANE AT YOUR NEXT CONFERENCE

Liane's Presentations
Liane is happy to prepare custom presentations for anyone, provided she is given the time and information she needs to do so. Liane charges no extra fee or these custom presentations; however, she has found that most folks simply need a few tweaks here and there to her basic presentations. After reading the descriptions of her various presentations outlined below, Liane invites you to contact her on an individual basis so that she can fine-tune her information just for your organization! In general, Lianes presentations require 3 to 6hours of speaking time. However, she can easily adjust the presentations to fit your schedule. Liane would like you to keep in mind that while she tends to bring her audience to tears, they are from laughter more often than sadness.

3-hour presentations
Stories from the Past, A vision for the Future
Liane presents her life story from her earliest memories as a very young child, to her world as she now experiences it. Included in this speech is information on how her parents and caregivers supported and taught her, how she came to understand and cope with her AS, and how society's views and expectations have affected her through her years. This presentation also showcases the talents and wonders of many of Lianes Aspie friends. Finally, Liane will present her vision of how we who care, can make life for ALL people on the ASD
spectrum more rich and rewarding.

Keeping Aspies Safe in an Unsafe World

In this presentation Liane discusses the ease with which people who have Asperger Syndrome fall prey to trouble, how they can avoid dangerous situations, and how they can build a recovery plan should the dangers find them.

Disclosure and Self-Advocacy
In this presentation, Liane will debate the pros and cons of disclosing one or ones child has Asperger syndrome. So too, will she discuss the importance of strong self- knowledge and self-advocacy skills. This presentation wraps-up with a creative look at ways to educate others about AS and how to disclose all the necessary information on AS to virtually anyone who might need to know.

C.U.E. the M.I.N.D.
Liane presents the 7 cornerstones of those elements she believes are the most essential to AS intervention.

6 hour presentations
Asperger Syndrome: Trials, Tribulations and Triumphs
A look at what AS is and how it effects the Aspies language, cognitive processing, sensory systems, emotional life and social world. In addition, this presentation suggests practical ways to help the individual with AS learn to cope with his/her unique needs and challenges. In the end, this presentation should make it clear that individuals with AS can be fabulous contributors to a variety of lifes situations.

Asperger Syndrome in the Adolescent Years: The Ins, the Outs, and Things In-Between
Based on the book for the same name, this presentation explores AS as it specifically relates to adolescents. Hints and helpful advice on dealing with this unique developmental period are offered and new research as it unfolds, is included to keep the topic timely and fresh.

Any combination of two 3 hour presentations
Liane is happy to custom combine any of her presentations to create the conference your audience needs. Just contact her with your specific information and she will work with you to come up with something that fits your goals and mission statements.

LIANES TRAVEL NEEDS
Liane requests that over-night accommodations be provided the night before, and on occasion, the night of, her speaking engagement. When making the hotel arrangements, please keep in mind Lianes sensory integration dysfunction and personal safety. Believe it or not, she has been placed in some pretty dank and unsecured hotels in the past! If the travel from Liane's location is more than 180 miles, she will likely request that air travel be provided for. On over-seas visits, Liane will request Business Class travel for she and possibly a companion.
